THAN JUST ANOTHER AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM
Club Varsity is a Youth Center in the South Suburbs of Chicago IL. We realize the need that the communities lack and we plan to address that need. With the Gabriel Joseph Foundation bringing in programs like Game Changers, Camp Champion, Real Talk and Soul Survivor we are that ONE STOP SHOP for teens wanting to become athletes, learn a trade or in need of a tutor/ mentor. We offer sports ranging from Basketball, Flag Football, Tennis, and Soccer. With GJF we pare a mentor with a teen and tutor if needed. Plus during the school Club Varsity's door are open to students after school. See with Club Varsity you get it all under the same roof! This gives administrators, the coaches, the mentors, the counselors, and tutors a better chance of getting to know each individual not treating problems as a group issues but on a more personal level.
Our Youth Center will help students get away from the pressures and distractions from peers & others. Club Varsity will assist in students becoming more focused on succeeding & being successful but in a more fun, laid back learning environment. Building on their weaknesses and equipping the students with the essential tools to make it in a forever changing world. Club Varsity will also host a summer Fit Camp called "Champions" for kids ages 5 to 17.
Game Changers is an Athletic Mentoring Program for Student Athletes. With “Game Changers” we will change the game by providing relationships between mentor/coach and student/athlete. We believe our teens very well should be involved in team sports it helps in so many ways but we also agree that teens now and days need more, and that’s where Game Changers comes in with a 24/7 service for our teens. We say 24/7 because when we step off the court our job isn't done in fact that’s when we go to work. All coaches are certified mentors and/or life coaches.
* Soul Survivor Mentoring Group coming soon. A non sports related Mentoring group for troubled youth.
Summer Fit Camp
Ages 5-17
Performing Arts Educational Programming. We need teen actors now. Also teens and students looking to break into the industry will have internship opportunities and be apart of our video production crew!
